Life on Anglesey: sheep dog trials in both sun and rain plus a chapel outing, a wedding and lovely shots of individual member's of the film-maker's local community.
Clever sheep at the sheep dog trials on Anglesey which take place regardless of the weather, be it fair or foul. The spectators, including a policeman and a religious minister, are refreshed by tea in china cups or by ice-creams. There is also footage of a chapel outing to a fair, a wedding with determined confetti throwing, and shots of individual members of the local community.
Shot by Brynsiencyn GP, John Glyn Jones, a viola player and son of a ship's captain who opened a general store in Nefyn after retiring from the sea. Dr Jones inherited the film-making equipment from his uncle Robert [known as Robin] J Jones, the Nefyn pharmacist, and carried on where his uncle left off, recording family and local events.
