What's a tramp to do when people will sit on the bench he has earmarked for a full-length nap? He calls on his small but significant fellow travellers!
A tramp makes the most of a man-of-the-road's reputation to achieve a nap on his favourite park bench, small but not insignificant creatures jumping in to help him repel all invaders such as a dandy poodle and his mistress. Referred to as "a Llandaff Court Vignette", this silent film is reminiscent of dramas from the 1900s. Enacted by members of Llandaff Citizens Association Drama Group, it is beautifully filmed in a Cardiff park by Cardiff Amateur Cine Society [CACS].
Bryn Calvin Thomas excels as the tramp and the other accomplished players are Muriel Evans (The Girl), Elton Stacey (The Boy), W E Phillips (The City Gent), Muriel Harrison (The Lady) and Dandy Rowles, a poodle, plays The Poodle.
