Hollywood makes a rare visit to Herefordshire with Sammy Davis Jr and Jerry Lewis on location at Eastnor Castle.
When Jerry Lewis was directing his friend Sammy Davis Jr in the knock-about comedy One More Time at Eastnor Castle near Ledbury in 1969 he ran an open set so that local people could come and see what was going on. Reg Harcourt and a film crew from ATV Today took advantage and gate-crashed for a rare chance to speak to some Hollywood royalty. As Lewis reminds him though, he's not running an opium den or a house of ill repute so all are welcome.
One More Time co-starred Peter Lawford and was a sequel to the 1968 Lawford and Davis Jr comedy Salt and Pepper. It was one of the final films to be shot at the MGM Borehamwood studio in Hertfordshire which closed in 1970.
