St. Andrew's Wells
Big fan of episcopal residences? Take a rose-tinted look at the historic city of Wells in this 1920s travelogue.
Overview
Size isn't everything, and England's smallest city punches well above its weight when it comes to tourist attractions. The film, like most visits to Wells, is centred on the cathedral - parts of which date back an entire millennium. As episcopal seats go, the Diocese of Bath and Wells certainly looks a comfy one. The original print of the film was tinted an orange-pink, but squint and you can make out some faded green stencil colouring on the trees.
