Smartly-dressed men and women leave an unknown (textiles?) factory at lunchtime.
Not a typical Mitchell and Kenyon 'factory gate' film: these workers are relatively sparse in number, composed and smartly dressed, boasting an impressive array of headgear (bowlers or cloth-caps for the men, flower-adorned boaters for the women). Spot the man carrying a bicycle and another who waves his hat at us, while boys loiter by the gate, their eyes glued to the camera. But where are we?
