This shorter, snappier trailer version of Playing with Fire - a Ministry of Health information film, also available on BFI Player - warns mums and dads of the dangers faced by a naturally curious child in and around the home. Shock tactics are effectively deployed to remind parents that the responsibility lies with them to watch over their little ones. Stressing that burns and scalds are preventable, cymbals and ambulance sirens are among the distressing sound effects used to stir emotions and emphasise the dangers of playing with fire.
