Overview
Brief film of a sweet-looking baby in a garden, crawling, being somewhat manhandled by its father and finally getting up close with the family pet, a large rabbit. At the end of it all, he even cracks a brief smile. The film, from 1937 and in good condition, is part of the Ronald Bond collection at Redbridge Museum.
Mr Bond as a baby in the back garden of 170 Richmond Road, Ilford – the house that remained his home until 1962 when he moved to Chelmsford to undertake his one and only job.
