The Box is a major cultural and heritage attraction and archive, which opened in Plymouth’s city centre in September 2020. Its collection, formally the South West Film and Television Archive (SWFTA), is the regional film archive for the South West of England, comprising the combined programme libraries of Westward Television and Television South West (TSW). It also includes a significant number of donated film collections dating back to the early 1890s.

Seven O' Clock Regulars' Swimming Club enjoy their annual swimming vacation, making waves with a trip to Exeter and Teignmouth in Devon. They are seen enjoying club camaraderie as they exercise on Plymouth Pier before tea and speeches hosted by Plymouth's Mayor, Ambrose Andrews.
This film is part of the collection of amateur films by Claude Redvers Endicott, a local butcher. He puts titles on his films like the silent movies of the time and uses advertising of the day such as “that Kruschen feeling”, Kruschen marketed smelling salts to wake you up! Endicott also refers to the 1925 version of Lew Wallace's Ben-Hur, which at a cost of almost $4 million is considered to be one of the most expensive silent movie ever made. The Seven O’Clock Regulars are seen imitating scenes from the film.
