The Box is a major cultural and heritage attraction and archive, which opened in Plymouth’s city centre in September 2020. Its collection, formally the South West Film and Television Archive (SWFTA), is the regional film archive for the South West of England, comprising the combined programme libraries of Westward Television and Television South West (TSW). It also includes a significant number of donated film collections dating back to the early 1890s.

Fore! Scottish comedian Ronnie Corbett widely known from 'the Two Ronnies' fame performed together with Ronnie Barker has today attended a golf match at Thurlestone Golf Club in Kingsbridge situated alongside Bigbury Bay, with Westwrd TV reporters Del Cooper and Chris Fear. A keen golfer Ronnie has taken part in many celebrity and charity matches around the country.
Ronnie Corbett joined the Royal Air Force for national service and turned to a career in comedy after the end of active duty in 1951. Performing since the 1950s his career spans almost 7 decades including a theatrical fall in 2005 in the Comic Relief video with Peter Kay “Is this the way to Amarillo?” Ronnie has enjoyed vast success in TV, theatre and film. His first film ‘You’re Only Young Once’ in 1952 was followed by television comedy sketches including ‘The Frost Report’ with Ronnie Barker and John Cleese. Ronnie then teamed up with Ronnie Barker for 'The Two Ronnies'.
