Princess Alexandra or Lady Ogilvy as she is also known inspects the troops of the Royal Armoured Corps at Bovington Camp Army Base in Dorset. Bovington Army Camp was originally established in 1899 for light infantry training, 1916 saw the training ground develop for the Machine Gun Corps, which in turn became the stomping ground for the Tank Corps in 1917.
