Overview

The castle that gives Bishop's Castle its name may have been reduced to a bowling green but the residents of the tiny Shropshire town want to hold onto their traditional ways and are not happy with proposals to amalgamate with nearby Clun. Memories of the Baron of Clun capturing the castle in 1265 live long in England's smallest borough as ATV reporter Jim Lloyd finds out.
