Fire at the Historic Inn at Hampton
Gone to blazes! Witness an amazing spectacle as horse-drawn fire engines race to rescue a historic Inn from a fiery inferno.
Overview
This fiery inferno at the old Red Lion Inn creates quite a stir among Hampton locals. Stunned passers-by watch as firemen grapple with horses and steam-powered appliances in a dramatic battle to save buildings and men from the mouth of the fire. But all is not as it seems...
Despite appearances, the film does not show a 'live' event. It's actually a carefully staged re-enactment carried out by the local fire brigade, partly for training purposes and partly to 'record' the event for posterity.
