Overview

Ocho is a gambler and pickpocket operating out of 1920s Tokyo who, at a young age, witnessed the brutal murder of her detective father after he learned too much about a local politician. As she searches for his killers, each identified by unique tattoos on their backs, she also crosses path with an anarchist intent on murdering a prominent politician and an American spy posing as a gambler.

One of the key Japanese sexploitation films of the 1970s this grindhouse thriller is wildly violent and highly entertaining. Combining formal experimentation with a sense of cool, it became a key influence on Tarantino.
