While researching for his moon colonisation programme, Professor Quatermass (Brian Donlevy) is intrigued by the strange readings his radar is picking up.

Adapted from the second of the Quatermass BBC series, Brian Donlevy delivers another iconic performance as Kneale's signature character, in a film that captures the low budget/high concept brilliance of 1950s British sci-fi. With alien life once again threatening planet Earth, this time from our own moon, Quatermass 2 manages to up the stakes to nuclear proportions.
