Overview
Julien Temple's love letter to Shane MacGowan, the man who as the frontman of his band The Pogues, famously combined traditional Irish folk music with the visceral energy of punk to thrilling effect. With previously unseen archive footage from friends and family, the documentary follows MacGowan right up to his 60th birthday, where punk legends, film stars, and a variety of other guests come together to celebrate his life.
