Overview
Set in Hong Kong in 2032, this sequel to Oshii's 1995 anime explores issues around identity, existence and what exactly defines our humanity. Agent Batou (extensively modified anatomically so that only his brain and memories remain distinctively human, making him a cyborg) and his partner Togusa journey into an infernal realm where reality is constantly open to question.
The film is presented in its original Japanese language with English subtitles.
