Tim Brooke-Taylor and Bill Oddie share a sketch, while Marty Feldman's classic 'Bookshop' skit gets its first outing.

        Overview

It becomes clear in this show that the number of hostesses is increasing by one every week and there are some wonderfully dry exchanges between Aimi MacDonald, Mary Maude and Christine Rodgers. Tim Brooke-Taylor gives the first of a series of bravura solo turns as the automatic hospital visitor (watch out for Bill Oddie as the hapless patient), while the ‘Bookshop’ sketch is a classic later recycled in Marty and elsewhere, but this original (and best) performance was long lost, as this was one of the most recently recovered full episodes.
