Death Becomes Her
Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn face off in this hilariously dark supernatural comedy, a 90s classic.
Director: Robert Zemeckis
Overview
Narcissistic actress Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streep) and writer Helen Sharp (Goldie Hawn) are old friends, whose tenuous bond is broken when Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé (Bruce Willis). It’s tested even further when a potion promising eternal youth is offered to them by a mysterious woman (Isabella Rossellini). The film is full of gorgeously camp lines and boasts an over-the-top horror aesthetic, but its beating heart is the relationship between the two frenemies.
