The Warwick Trading Company catalogue boasts that this is a "novel and most interesting scene." Joe Rosenthal, Warwick's star cameraman, was equipped with a comparatively mobile camera. This had its advantages and disadvantages. Although he could often get ahead of the advancing troops, it sometimes put him in danger. In this relatively placid scene, however, Rosenthal's presence doesn't seem to draw much attention.
