A spiffy gent gets himself into trouble in these fragments from the collection of Alfred Darling
Alfred Darling was an early innovator and designer, born in London but living and working in Brighton. The cameras that he built were among the most successful and reliable available at the time. These fragments of film originate from Darling's collection and were conceivably used as test strips for his various inventions. The very fact that they survived any number of fraught tests is perhaps testament to Darling's skill as an engineer.
