Overview
The film begins with several brave, or foolhardy, individuals diving and jumping off the high boards at a very crowded Hilsea Lido. There is also a view of the Moderne-style Hilsea Café before we move to Old Portsmouth and the bombed out remains of the Royal Garrison Church. The funfair and entertainment complex at Clarence Pier can be seen in the distance. The film ends with various Isle of Wight ferries chugging to and fro along the waters of the Solent.
