The fun and games of Top Down Day appear in this 'smashing, film from David Chesterfield -and a visit to Ditchling's colourful fete stars a vicar under attack from soggy sponges
We begin at Ditchling's annual fete where a band of Life Guards march before a procession of decorated floats, a carousel and a 'Soak the Vicar' game. Then we move to Brighton's Stanmer Park for Top Down Day. Here we see several teams competing in an 'It's A Knockout'-style tournament including a relay race in sacks, a flour bomb game and a tug-of-war match before teams use sledgehammers to reduce pianos to little pieces in order to pass them through a hole in a wooden wall.
