Overview
This marvellous film starts at Southampton's Town Quay where passengers board Blue Funnel’s Solent Queen. Sailing out onto Southampton Water we pass a variety of ships moored at their berths. We see cargo ships being loaded as well as a number of famous ocean going liners including RMS Pendennis Castle, the SS United States and the RMS Queen Elizabeth. Soon it's time to return to the Town Quay where the happy passengers disembark and we get a final look at the Solent Queen.
