Overview
Doreen Combes' film starts with views of Hove's burnt-out town hall before moving to the quaint and quiet streets of leafy Horsham. Historic building styles from Tudor inns to Regency villas are seen. At the Fox Inn in Patcham, the local hunt assembles for their wintry pursuit. Note the Watney's Red Barrel on top of the pub sign as well as the presence of the police. The film ends at a church in springtime, which is possibly St Mary the Virgin at nearby Clapham.
