Emma
A bittersweet short about a young girl who spends an afternoon playing in Highgate Cemetery where she discovers what the future may have to offer.
Overview
An expressively wordless meditation on life, death and innocence, Emma is about a six year old girl who spends a summer afternoon playing in Highgate Cemetery and discovers what the future may have to offer. Directed by Anthony Perry(producer of The Party's Over), this symbolic short film benefits from lush colour cinematography and the decaying splendour of the cemetery.
This title is also available on the DVD/Blu-ray 'The Party's Over' in the BFI Flipside collection.
