Cheers! A toast to Greenall Whitley - today known as G&J Distillers - a North West company with a long history of distilling excellence.
From the collection of:

Overview
This cheerful promotional film for the Greenall Whitley brewery and distillery takes us to the town at the heart of the North West network of road, rail and waterways. We go inside the plant to watch the distilling, bottling, packaging and advertising, and see the raw ingredients used in the product, but we don't get to learn the company's own recipe for gin, which is a closely guarded secret!
