Ceremonial Opening of the the 3rd Orpington Boy Scout Group Headquarters

Scouts and Guides, carrying their banners, parade to the site of the new Scout Headquarters for the opening ceremony.

3rd Orpington Pathfinder Scouts celebrate the opening of the newly built hall with their families and friends from the Guides. The ceremony begins with a parade to the new site, where speeches are given by leaders. Skipper Gledhill is singled out for thanks for his service to the 'cause of operation survival'.
