Overview
In an unidentified Derbyshire village, possibly Ashford, visitors flock to see the impressive well dressings, displayed here in marvellous Kodachrome colour. Adorned with inscriptions taken from the bible – `Faith Hath Made Thee Whole' – the bible stories, lovingly pieced together from nature’s store, reflect the church revival of the 1950s.
