Overview

A student at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, records youthful hijinks and high jumps in the 1950s. He shoots footage of an athletics competion against Oxford University and fund-raising for charities which involves Rag processions, shoe shining and street collections. He is also ready with the camera at civic occasions - the unveiling of the WWII plaque on the town memorial and the mayor’s public proclamation of the Queen’s accession to the throne in 1952.
