Think of the Future

A highly animated answer to the question of rising living standards.

Animation & Artists Moving Image 1956 8 mins

Overview

What’s the secret of rising living standards? Our hero is George, an animated everyman, who learns the answer to that ever-important question. This crisp cartoon contribution to both the UK and the Europe-wide productivity campaign is executed with characteristic style and wit by Britain’s leading animation producers Halas and Batchelor.

Animation is perhaps the most flexible of call ommunication tools, especially useful for simplifying complex stories while crossing culture and language barriers. Both background and character design are here kept engaging and generic enough to work in any Western European country, while the soundtrack can easily be translated into multiple languages.
