John Purvis Howard's captivating film magazine for the Eltham Cine Society, shows the production of cricket bats at the Gradidge Workshop in Woolwich, flowering trees and shrubs in an Eltham park and in St James' Park in London, Blackpool's illuminations, a song being recorded onto shellac discs and a ministerial trip to RAF Hendon - where the ministers then fly onwards to RAF Biggin Hill to inspect an experimental new aircraft called the Martin-Baker MB2.
