Overview
Wedding night scenes were a staple of the What-the-Butler-Saw seaside film viewer, which may be why filmmakers Haydon and Urry of Islington - essentially manufacturers of games machines - chose to translate the subject to film. The actors play it for laughs, with the young man getting increasingly hot under the collar as the layers of white petticoats come off. It was issued with a sequel, Twelve Months After, which doesn't survive, though I'm sure we can all imagine what that would be about.
