There are nice interior and exterior shots of the office building on Chequers Lane, Dagenham, owned by Southern United Telephone Cables (later Telephone Cables), who were at one point Europe’s largest manufacturer of cables, occupying an 8-acre site. The boss arrives in his chauffeur driven car, before conferring with other middle-aged, white, male execs. The only woman, a receptionist, watches.
