Take Your Partner
Refusing to take 'no' for an answer, a young woman takes matters into her own hands, with embarrassing results.

Overview
When the dance partner of her choice doesn't respond to her charms, a young woman unwisely takes his refusal as a challenge in this short drama, shot by talented amateur filmmaker Keith Hodkinson. Specially commended by Amateur Cine World, the film features members of Hatherlow Sunday School in Stockport.
The film focuses on the able-bodied female character and culminates in her discomfort and embarrassment of having 'got it wrong', the young man's perspective is not taken into consideration. This fear is still prevalent in attitudes towards disabled people today, in 2014 survey two thirds of the British public admitted they felt uncomfortable speaking to disabled people (Scope, 2014).
