Rol's Wedding - Capel Ebeneser, Y Ffor
Families from Taliesin, near Aberystwyth and Y Ffor, near Pwllheli, are united by the marriage of Rowland [Rol] Davies and Bethan Williams at Y Ffor’s Capel Ebeneser.
From the collection of:

Overview
Rowland [Rol] Davies, son of Mr John and Mrs Gwen [M G J] Davies of 'Dolclettwr', Taliesin, and his wife, Bethan (nee Williams, daughter of Mr Ceri and Mrs Helen Williams of Y Ffor/Four Crosses, Pwllheli) , are seen outside Capel Ebeneser, Y Ffor, newly married, surrounded by bridesmaids (including Bethan's sister, and Rowland's sister Kathryn [Kit] Ellis), family and guests. They are also seen greeting their guests arriving for the reception at Woodlands Hall, Edern.
A film from one of the relatively few collections of film held by the Archive to have been shot by a woman – Mrs Gwen [M G J] Davies. She lived her entire life at ‘Dolclettwr’, a farm with a centuries-old farmhouse which was severely damaged by fire in 1996. All the video transfers of Mrs Davies’ films that the Archive had made for her were lost in the fire, as the original films would have been if they had not already been safely deposited at the Archive.
