The East Anglian Film Archive, the first and largest Regional Film Archive in England, was established in 1976. Since 1984, EAFA has been owned and operated by the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UEA), to support research and work to preserve our moving image heritage. More than 250 hours are freely available online as examples of the wide range of film which attracts interest the world over.

Overview
Perkins were masters of promotion and with customers worldwide, the company Film Unit was always busy filming the factory at work and landmark events to shout about the company's success. With aerial filming and shots from locations around the world showing Perkins engines in action, it seems no expense was spared in this production. Focus was on the world class Perkins engines produced on up to date, automated assembly lines with meticulous quality control.
At the time of this film, F Perkins Ltd. was the biggest employer in Peterborough.
