        Overview

Extraordinary footage of condemned London streets shortly before they were demolished to make way for the Westway in Notting Dale. Includes shots of houses and shops on Walmer Road, Silchester Street and Bechynden Mews, some of which is already in the process of demolishment. Powerful time capsule of London history before its obliteration, filmed by local man and later councillor Barry Cheese.
