Netley Marsh Steam Engine Rally 1976
The hot summer of '76 is made even hotter by a line-up of working steam traction engines in this nostalgic film from R H Collins

Overview
We begin with steam traction engines, of all sizes, strutting their stuff past crowds of visitors. There is a unique view of a line-up of traction engines with their chimneys belching out smoke. Shire horses give their own displays of pulling power - from carriages and carts to ploughs. Tractors also perform in a cavalcade - with some drivers stripped to the waist, while old grannies, still wearing cardigans despite the record temperatures, munch on their sandwiches.
