Overview

The Monmouth to Ross on Wye railway line opened in 1873 but was axed before Dr Beeching began cutting services. The final train on this line ran in January 1959 and an ATV Midland Montage camera was on hand to capture events as the final special service threads its way through a snowy Wye Valley.
