Liberal politician and former Prime Minister Lord Rosebery addresses appreciative crowds.

Archibald Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery, had a brief and largely undistinguished 15 months as Liberal prime minister in 1894-95, but this film documents his continued public status. Only short sections of his speech are captured, but his skill as a public speaker is demonstrated by the fact that not a single head turns to look at the camera, which is extremely rare in these films.
