Flags, bands and the Lord Mayor’s gold coach parade down the Embankment in this brief, rough, footage from the Lord Mayor’s Show.

Good if brief scenes of the Lord Mayor’s Show as they march past Embankment tube – then named Charing Cross, which would date this as before 1974. The crowd is large, some watching from the roof on top of the station, as they watch marching bands, soldiers and footmen in their finery before the Mayor’s gold coach appears.
