Llanarmon: Sheep Dog Trials and Gymkhana etc.
Contest requiring nerves of steel as man and dog work to control sheep, part of a relaxing, sunny day out for the rest of the Llanarmon community.
From the collection of:

Overview
The subtle art of sheep dog trialling – with man, dog and sheep engaged in a contest requiring nerves of steel - is seen in action at Gelli Gynan farm, Llanarmon-yn-Iâl. There are also some shots of gymkhana events but mainly this is footage of the community – individuals and groups - enjoying a sunny day out. Shot by engineer W H Crawford whose family joined this community when they came to live in their holiday home - ' Ellerslie' – after their Liverpool home was bombed in 1940.
