Seeing the dramatic weather conditions Frank H Kenyon, who ran the Princess Theatre cinema in Colwyn Bay with his family, must have grabbed his camera in order to capture footage that would amaze those who saw it on the big screen. Frank had moved to Wales from Rochdale and was used as a stringer by a newsreel company to supply newsworthy local events on film.
