Overview
This ten-minute silent colour film begins with sweeping views of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution’s residential home for the elderly in Hove, Harewood Court, which opened in 1955 to replace the original home in Croydon. An official visit is the focus, and we see the visitor shaking hands with staff and residents as she begins her tour, before everybody poses for a group shot at the end.
