An independent charity and company based at the University of Lincoln, MACE acquires, catalogues, preserves and makes widely available moving image materials that inform our understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of communities between the Lincolnshire coast and the Welsh border.

Overview
At Great Barrington in Gloucestershire houses stand empty; slowly decaying back into the earth. Historic thatched cottages in the distinctive Cotswold stone lie abandoned. Why are so few people allowed to move in and is the local lord of the manor being too choosy? As reporter Brenda Holton is told by one person who's tried to buy a property - "Houses need living in."
