A Stourbridge glass workshop opens its doors to visitors keen to see the secrets of the glass blowers' art.
In 1975 the English Tourist Board produced a register of industrial plants that were willing to open for tourism. Tourism was seen as a potential money spinner for industries long in decline due to stagnation and changing world markets. Stuart Crystal at Stourbridge took the plunge and reporter Sue Jay joins a group of visitors touring the historic glass producer to witness the lung busting work of the craftsmen who produce the crystal glass on sale in the company's shop.
