Overview
Entertaining and informative MoD film of the Duke of Kent’s tour of the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, where the British Army’s small calibre weapons were manufactured. Includes a short history of the factory, a look at the computers used in the manufacture of weapons and a tour of the “pattern room”, a huge collection of important weapons. But the highlight is probably when the Duke gets into a tank and lets rip with abandon. From the Imperial War Museum collection.
