Westward Television presenters Kenneth MacLeod and Del Cooper explore what the 1976 Devon County Show has to offer, Including a man climbing up a tree trunk, an interview with a representative from the Forestry Commission, two deers running, goatkeeping, floral displays, a horse and carriage display, and an interview with Miss Torbay.

The Devon County Show is an annual agricultural show held over three days in May and dates back to 1872. From 1956, the show was held at the permanent site of Whipton as shown in this report. Since 1990 it has been held at the Westpoint Arena and Showground, Clyst St. Mary near Exeter.
