Whistlestop tour of Dartmouth in Devon, taking in the 17th century Butterwalk arcade and medieval castle.
Overview
Enjoy this tantalisingly brief travelogue of Dartmouth, Devon, made by early cinema pioneer Charles Urban. The tour takes in two of the town's most famous landmarks, the picturesque 17th century Butterwalk arcade and the enchanting Dartmouth Castle, which looks out over the entrance to the Dart Estuary. The castle is now owned by English Heritage, while Butterwalk is home to Dartmouth Museum.
