There's some toilet humour at the end of this farcical film depicting a cycling commuter's nightmare ride to his place of work.
A City gent, armed with briefcase and bowler hat, sets off for work on his foldaway bicycle. After knocking down a cycling vicar along a No Cycling footpath, he gallantly helps a woman who has caught her stiletto heel in the pavement. But then a Mini drives off with his briefcase and the chase is on. After some furious pedalling he gets his case back and arrives at work - where we now see that the City gent works in the Gents.
City Gents was filmed in and around Tunbridge Wells by the Regency Film Unit - a local cine club.
